In today’s media landscape, you need creative that STANDS OUT. Love it or hate it, the content you remember and share is the media that pushed the envelop enough to get (and then keep) your attention for at least a few seconds. That’s the margin you’re working within -a few seconds. We chose our name for a reason: whenever Epic Made produces a visual, we are always looking for ways it can rise above the noise. We are looking for ways to make it EPIC.
What does “EPIC” mean anyway? It’s worth considering that its definition depends on the needs of the project. An “epic” logo might be clean and sexy while an “epic” animation is loud and vibrant. We always consider WHY a particular visual is being commissioned and ensure that the “why” is at the forefront of our designs. To us, “EPIC” isn’t always over-the-top or ostentatious, it’s just as far away from mundane and forgettable as the project’s purpose will allow.
TALENTED MULTI-DISCIPLINED TEAM
Epic Made specializes in creating unique visuals that ONLY a team of exceptional artists can produce. Our team consists of animators, videographers, illustrators, digital painters, and graphic designers who can all lend their expertise to a single project should they be needed. Many animators and illustrators lack the layout know-how of a graphic designer who is well versed in print. Most graphic designers cannot illustrate or animate to the caliber of a professional specialized in those crafts. When we produce creative for our clients, it is ALWAYS the product of collective experience rather than that of a single artist.
ARTIST WHISPERERS
Communicating directly with artists can come with its share of challenges. You have probably heard stories of artists disappearing mid-project, taking forever to provide updates, or just being difficult to talk to in general. Maybe you have even experienced this yourself -we sure have. The fact is, creative minds sometimes operate on a very different wavelength than your average entrepreneur’s. It can even be the very reason they are so creative in the first place! While this double-edged sword isn’t the case with every artist, who wants to roll those dice when you need work done yesterday? That’s where we come in.
Epic Made only keeps the most professional talent we know in our collective. Every artist we employ is business-minded and project-proven, in addition to being awesome humans. That said, it can still be daunting to explain your idea to a creative, especially one you’ve never worked with before, so to further bridge the gap, our Creative Director, Ross Ciuppa, acts as a mediator between your team and ours. Ross is both a skilled creative and entrepreneur in his own right, allowing him to help pull the right information from you and your team and translate it to ours. This system ensures that communication flows smoothly and the proper vision is translated to the artist(s) responsible for your project.
